Here you can complete the first part in the registration process. After filling in the registration form, you don't have to do this in our office and thus you do not need to stand in line twice.
To become a member of Selfnet e.V you need:
- A German bank account
- Your valid identity card, passport or driving licence
- A valid e-mail address
To get an internet connection in addition you need:
- A valid rental contract from the Studentenwerk Stuttgart. A rental contract is the one which you get from the caretaker. The letter you get from the Studentenwerk is NOT a contract and we will not accept it.
- You must live in one of the following hostels :
- Allmandring 8 bis 22
- Heilmannstrasse (AXA - Building)
- Bauhäusle
- Pfaffenhof 42 bis 50
- Holzgartenstraße (Max-Kade-Wohnheim)
- Rosenbergstraße (Theodor-Heuss-Wohnheim)
If you live in another hostel, then WH-Netz e.V. is most likely responsible for your internet connection.
To access the internet you need :
- A Computer
- Network card (10 or 100 MBit)
- Network cable (TP-cable, not crossed)
How much does the membership in Selfnet e.V. cost?
The membership costs € 7,- per month. Direct debit is the only mode of payment. The membership fee will be debited every three months in advance.
How much does the internet cost?
The internet is free for active and passive members.
