Work at the Selfnet Network (Part III)
Caused by some structural changes at the Selfnet network there will be a short interruption of the internet connection during the night from Thursday (1st Sept.) to Friday (2nd Sept.) between 1 and 2 am.
The interruption will take approximately 45 minutes.
We will try to keep these interruptions as short as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Extra Support-Hour at the Heilmannstraße Dormitory
Because the first of Septem is a Wednesday this time there will be an extra Support-Hour at the 2nd September from 8 to 9 o'clock (pm) at the Heilmanstraße Dromitory.
The Students who moved in for September can use this service to get instant membership and don't have to wait for it till monday.

Failure of the connection Heilmannstr. -> Vaihingen
Today some technical problems caused some connection failures. The Problems should be solved now.
We apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
Work at the Selfnet Network (Part II)
Today we finished the work at our network in the Heilmannstraße faster than we thought. This was the first step on our way to a Gigabit-Network.
Everything should work now as usual. If there occur some problems please visit us at our support office on monday evning (8 to 9 pm)
To get an Idea about the work we made a picture for you to show how many data can be send through an optical fibre.
This optical fiber can transport up to 10 Gigabits per Second.
Network Outage
Currently there are network-outages for the whole dormitory network (Selfnet & WH-Netz).
We're currently working on a solution. Please be patient.
Update: The Problem is based by our network provider Belwue. So we just can wait for a solution.
Update 2: One Node is online again but another between this and the Internet is still Offline. It shouldn't take to long anymore.
Update 3: Seems WH-Netz got Connection again
