Relaunch of My.Selfnet

Some of you may still know the old My.Selfnet which has been closed during security reasons and technical problems some time ago.

Since some time passed and the software has been completely new written we can present you the result. Since today My.Selfnet ist available again!

For all who don't know My.Selfnet the core characteristics:

• Change the email-address which is registered at Selfnet and view your other Data.
• Add, change and delete
  • IP addresses
  • MAC addresses
  • DNS-Names of your devices
  • Portforwardings (if you already signed the regulations for portforwardings)
  • Activate or deactivate your IPv6

Furthermore the logindata of My.Selfnet will be used for other services later (e.g. the Selfnet WLAN).

For your registration visit my.selfnet.de and register with the currently at Selfnet used email-address. (Important: You need to be in your room to register.)

Support at the Theodor-Heuss-Dormitory

As some students who live at the Theodor-Heuss-Dormitory wanted to participate in the Selfnet network there is a support-hour again already since last Wednesday (11.1.2012).

From now on there will be regular support-hours every Wednesday from 7:30 to 8 pm.

Supporthours during the christmas holidays

During the christmas holidays a lot of Selfnet-Supporter will stay at home with their families. This causes some limitations for support-hours.

Vaihingen (Allmandring 8a): regulary Mondays and Thursdays 6 to 7 pm
Heilmannstraße: closed at 26.12.2011 and 2.1.2012
Max-Kade-Heim: closed at 28.12.2011 and 4.1.2012
Theodor-Heuss-Heim: will remain closed until 11.1.2011

Support Hours for the Start of October

Because the first of October is a Saturday this time and a lot of new Students will move in, there will be several support hours.
The students who moved in for September can use this service to get instant membership and the access to the network. So you don't have to wait for it till our next support hour.

Please pre-register at https://registrierung.selfnet.de/ to shorten up the registration process or you need to wait for a longer time (can be up to several hours).

Currently the following support hours are planned:

Thursday, 29.09.2011: 6 - 7 pm
Friday, 30.09.2011: 4 - 6 pm
Saturday, 01.10.2011: 4 - 6 pm
Monday, 03.10.2011: 6 - 8 pm
Thursday, 06.10.2011: 6 - 8 pm

Dormitory Max-Kade-Heim:
Wednesday, 27.09.2011: 7:30 - 8 pm
Wednesday, 05.10.2011: 7:30 - 8 pm

Dormitory Heilmannstraße:
Friday, 30.9.2011: 8 - 9 pm
Monday, 03.10.2011: 8 - 9 pm
