Critical security hole in Internet Explorer [UPDATE]

The german Federal Office for Information Security ("BSI") strongly advises everyone to stop using the Internet Explorer while the problems have not yet been solved. Though the Security Advisory published by Microsoft reduces the risk being affected by an attack, it does not guarantee you not being hit by an exploitation of these vulnerabilities.

Some alternative web browsers are:

• Mozilla Firefox (all operating systems)
• Google Chrome (all operating systems)
• Opera (all operating systems)

Microsoft released a patch for Internet Explorer available via Windows Update.
